LEA MINOR

 

 

Mrs. Lea Minor, mother of Sandy Minor Smith, Class of ‘63, Judy Minor Villari, Class of ‘66 and Nancy Minor Fullilove, Class of 67, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the age of 91. A service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 11th at Porter  Loring North Funeral Home at 2102 N. Loop 1604 East in San Antonio, with burial to follow at 11:45 a.m. at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. The service is open to all who knew the Minors.

GOLDIE HOLT

GOLDIE HOLT passed away April 3, 2013 in San Antonio, TX at the age of 89. She was predeceased by her husband George Wortham Holt. She is survived by her children Gene Holt and Sandra Holt Lyda and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services were held Saturday, April 6, 2013 in San Antonio. You may send condolences to:

WINFIELD "BUZZ" GRANT MULKINS, II '65

Do you know what I remember most about Buzz? At the end of the basketball season, we were getting pictures made for the yearbook. Some of the guys were using chairs to jump off so that they could be "dunking" the ball in their picture. Buzz did that and landed wrong, breaking his ankle. But he wouldn't leave until he was in the team photo. If you look at the team photo, you can see that he did not have his typical smile, but more of a grimace. He is was in a lot of pain, but he didn't want to be left out of the picture.  Remembering Buzz by Jerry Ball '65
