Richard Frederick Robinson, 61, of Fayetteville passed away Monday, Oct. 1, 2007, in Fayetteville. He was born Sept. 26, 1946, in Long Beach, Calif., to Fellie Fred Robinson and Laverne Hinkle Robinson. He was retired from the veterans administration as a hospital administrator, having served at the Fayetteville Veterans Affairs Medical Center from 1990-1999, and has been the director of pharmacy for Harps Food Stores since 2000. He was a U. S. Army veteran, a member of The Gideons International and a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Springdale.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Parko Robinson; his father, Fellie Fred Robinson of Apple Valley, Calif.; two sons, Matthew Robinson and wife Breon of Fayetteville and Nathan Robinson and wife Cherry of Springdale; three daughters, Amy Schwartz and husband Bernie of Los Angeles, Rebecca McNeill and husband Nick of Little Rock, and Laura Boen and husband John of Lincoln, England; two sisters, Judi Collins and husband Bill of Apple Valley, Calif., and Virginia Robinson of Redlands, Calif.; one brother, Mark Robinson of Hartford, Ala.; and two granddaughters, Sarah Juliane Schwartz and Madeline Frances McNeill.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p. m. today at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
Private graveside services will be held Thursday at the Fort Smith National Cemetery.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p. m. Thursday at Fellowship Bible Church, 2000 W. Emma Ave. in Springdale, with Pastors John Glasser and Steve Barthelemy officiating.
