Today my family and I, escorted by a full compliment of Patriot Guard Riders and law enforcement officers from Okaloosa and Escambia Counties, took my father on his final earthly journey and buried him with full military honors next to my mother at Barancas National Cemetary, Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Florida.
