Mrs. Hubert B. Strode nee Susan Francis, of Comfort passed, away on Wednesday, July 11, 2001 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident at the age of 54 years. Mrs. Susan Francis Strode is survived by her husband, Hubert B. Strode of Comfort; mother, Mary Lee Francis of Houston; sister, Janet Murillo of Houston; sisters-in-law, Mary and Harold Wiser of Pottsboro, TX, Joyce O'Bannon of Huntsville, TX; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mrs. Susan Francis Strode will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2001 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home in Comfort with the Rev. Cheryl Owens officiating. Interment will follow in the Sisterdale Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Susan Francis Strode will begin on Saturday, July 14, 2001 at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home in Comfort.
