Lt. Col. John Winston Moseley, USAF (Ret.) passed away on October 25, 2011 at the age of 56. Col. Moseley's Air Force career spanned 20 years with Audio Visual Service/Combat Camera, Training with Industry in motion picture at WGN Chicago, The Inspector General, Squadron Command and Communications Executive Officer assignments. John was an avid golfer, enthusiastic snow skier, accomplished TV documentary producer and a loving, devoted husband and father. His legacy to his family is his positive energetic outlook on life, love of family and intense patriotism. John is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Shelley; daughter and son-in-law, Megan and Adam Rice and his imminently due first granddaughter. He is also survived by his three brothers,
Ford, Phil and Eric. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Schertz Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, November 4, 2011 at Universal City United Methodist Church, with Reverend Richard Young officiating.
