Frances M. Lieberman

Frances M. Lieberman, age 93, of San Antonio, died Wednesday, June 1, 2016. She was born August 14, 1922 in Pittsburg, Kansas, daughter of Joseph and Myrtle (Overton) McCrea. She graduated from Pittsburg Senior High School, Pittsburg, Kansas in 1940. She married James H. Lieberman on June 16, 1942 at Randolph Air Force Base; he preceded her in death. She held various jobs prior to becoming a mother, but stayed home and raised her children once her son was born. After her daughter graduated from high school, she was the office manager at St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church. She was active in the base chapels while her husband served in the Air Force, then at St. Matthew’s once he retired. She is survived by son, John Joseph Lieberman of Shreveport, Louisiana; and daughter, Jo Ann Lieberman of San Antonio. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
