RUBY FITZPATRICK a longtime resident of Universal City, died on Friday, 7 Oct 2016 at the age of 94. Ruby was born on April 22, 1922 to Ed and Ora Ray. She will be laid to rest at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with her beloved husband Bill, who died in June 2003. She met “Chief Fitz” at Sewart AFB, TN and they were married for 60 years. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Jim and Michael.
Ruby is survived by her son Bill and daughter-in-law Christina Fitzpatrick and their four children: Amy and Wayne Walters of Katy, TX; Jim and Holly Fitzpatrick of Indianapolis, IN; Colin and Erin Randolph of Omaha, NE; and Nico Randolph of Goldsboro, NC. Ruby is also survived by her son Michael’s widow, Denise Fitzpatrick, and her four children: Billy and Andrea Fitzpatrick; Teddy and Vanessa Fitzpatrick; Shannon and Casey Brandt; and John and Rachel Fitzpatrick, all of Austin TX. She also has numerous Great Grandchildren.
A Memorial Service for Ruby will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, 5 Nov 2016 at Colonial Funeral Home in Universal City, TX. 625 Kitty Hawk Rd., Universal City, TX 78148 (210) 658-7037.

Ruby was one of my greatest supporters when I started the Newsletters and Reunions. She even attended a few reunions! She sent me a note yearly to report on her family. She was a feisty and sassy lady. She was just the cutest little lady. I will remember her always and smile. Gloria Campbell Gallagher '65
