CYNTHIA AKI HEATH - Class of '66


Cynthia AKI Heath


Cynthia A. Heath, 65, of Live Oak, Texas, passed away on March 13, 2014. Cyndi as she was known passed away peacefully with her loving husband, Donald Heath and family members present. Cyndi was born in Hawaii on April 2, 1948. She worked for the Air Force Civil Service for 30 years. After her retirement from Civil Service, Cyndi pursued a teaching career and taught Special Education at Ed Franz Elementary and second grade at the Carver Academy. Cyndi was preceded in death by her son, Steven H. Heath, her mother Ruth A. Aki and her father Joseph H. Aki. Cyndi is survived by her loving husband Donald Heath, her brother Ron Aki and wife Martha of Houston, Texas, nephews Randall Aki of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Russell Aki and wife Emily of East Bernard, Texas and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins who live in Texas, Washington and Hawaii. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from 5pm to 8pm at Colonial Funeral Home in Universal City, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 12:30 pm at Colonial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:45 pm. The family of Cyndi Heath wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Kapoor and the loving and caring staff at Northeast Methodist Hospital.
